What is a Laser Printed Form?

• Laser Printed Forms (LPF) are generated from blank paper using simple inkjet or laser printers. LPF will print color. LPF do not require pre-printed forms.
• LPF are designed to lower operating forms cost and with a built-in "auto update" you always have the latest and greatest. No more ordering forms, paying shipping, or throwing away outdated forms.
• LPF is designed to work with most Dealer Management Software (DMS) and to adapt to to most DMS software applications.
• LPF has a very simple public domain interface. The LPF interface
  is free to any and all licensed automobile dealers.
• LPF has an extensive free forms library for various counties, states, boroughs, etc. In most cases there are no forms programming charges.

Laser Printed Forms (LPF) are generated from blank paper using simple inkjet or laser printers. Chances are you have come into contact with a LPF before today. For example the last mortgage you signed was probably generated from blank paper. LPF is not a new technology; however, Versisoft's unique open access delivery method is. Verisoft's extremely low cost of delivery per form printed is a fraction of the cost of pre-printed forms. Old style pre-printed forms are faced with environmental issues, higher production costs and delivery charges that sometimes match the cost of the forms. Simply said, the days of pre-printed forms are numbered.

The most common question we are asked is, "Do all of my forms work with laser printers?" The answer is 99% of the time we can export you own current pre-printed forms over to LPF very easily. There are times we are unable to take some companies pre-printed forms because of trade make or copyright laws. However, we always have a similar form that does the same function.

The second most common question is "How do I get copies?" Easy. Each form has a setting that tells how many copies to produce at the time of printing. This setting can be adjusted by you anytime you choose, and remember, the copies are free. Simply have the customer sign all three copies if required.

How free is free? Most of our form programs are free. There are small instances where there may be a custom form that can only be used by a specific dealership. In this instance there may be a small programming charge; however, we will in most cases waive these charges if the dealer signs up for one or more years.

How fast can I get going with LPF? Very fast if your software already supports Versisoft's LPFs. Within minutes you can be up and running. If you have custom forms that need setting up, we can usually program them in less than a week once we've received the forms.

Do all my extended service contracts, credit life, etching agreements, burglar alarm installation agreements, undercoating, miscellaneous sealants, bank contracts, purchase orders, POA certificates, and trade payoff authorizations print on blank paper? The answer is YES!

Dealerships download small interface free, then buy "fuel cells". Fuel cells vary in size and cost. This allows dealers to customize print job volumes. There is generally no cost for the dealers to add forms to their personal library. There may be a small cost if it's a custom form that applies only to that dealership. Generally these custom charges will not exceed $150 US.

Bank contracts, insurance verification, service contracts, purchase orders, higher purchase agreements, state and local DMV, DOL, DMVD, DMVLD, LOL, CANLIC, and all local government required forms, credit life, other types of add-on equipment agreements, association forms, and new vehicle stickers are generally free to download anytime.

What is a fuel cell? A fuel cell is an electronic meter that the dealer recharges from time to time - usually monthly or bi-monthly. Every time the dealer prints a form for a customer his fuel cell is reduced by one credit. However, the dealer can print as many copies for that customer as he needs for free.

Versisoft estimates an average of 12 forms are printed on each customer deal. With these numbers in mind, typical dealerships print laser forms for pennies instead of dollars. Dealer cost per customer varies from 75 cents to $3.50 per customer versus $5.00 to $12.00 per customer for conventional pre-printed impact forms.

Accessing Versisoft via the web anytime will instantly update the dealership's forms library - assuring the dealership has the latest revisions available. Updating is also done when the dealer recharges their forms printing fuel cell.
